Permanent makeup pre-care instructions:

7 Days prior the appointment

(Applies to all cosmetic tattoos.)

Discontinue the following (until after the appointment):

-Multivitamins: C & E, Turmeric, Ginger, Fish oils.

-Antibiotics: A 7 day window is required between last dose and your appointment.

-Facial acids: Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic and any exfoliating acids.

-Tanning: NO tanning or using artificial tanning products at least for 2 weeks.

Additional for LIP BLUSH:

-Keep your lips moisturized all the time with Vaseline or Aquaphor.

-If you ever had a cold sore, please obtain a prescription for treatment (Voltrex) and begin taking it 2-5 days prior to your appointment. (Make sure you have enough medications to last 2-3 days after the appointment.)

Additional for LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT:

-If you have recently undergone eye surgery, please consult your physician prior to booking.

-Complete any eyelash tinting or lash lifts at least one week before your permanent makeup session to avoid potential chemical reactions.

-Please remove eyelash extensions prior to your appointment to ensure a clean and accessible working area.

48 hours prior the appointment:

Discontinue the following (until after the appointment):

-Alcoholic beverages.

-Anti-inflammatory medications. (Advil, Ibuprofen, Naproxen, Aspirin).

Day of your appointment:

-No caffeine! (This includes Coffee, Caffeinated teas, Coke, Diet coke).

-Please lightly and gently exfoliate your brows the morning of your appointment with a damp cloth.

Additional for LIP BLUSH:

-Exfoliate your lips in the morning and apply Vaseline/Aquaphor until your appointment.

*It is highly advised to prevent any cosmetic tattoo from fading to always apply sun screen when exposed to sun*

Permanent makeup post-care instructions:

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROWS:

DAY 1-5: Clean the brows with the pads you were given, as instructed.

DAY 1-5: Allow your brows to rest. Make sure they are clean and dry.

DAY 1-5: Apply the provided aftercare balm twicedaily until all the scabs have healed and the skin regains its natural feel.

FIRST 7 DAYS:

-Wash your face and brows gently to keep the area clean.

-NO sweating.

-No cream or makeup around brows.

First 2 weeks: No facials, saunas, steaming, swimming and makeup on the brows.

First 4 weeks: No direct sun including tanning. Also avoid chemical peels, lasers or anything harsh on the face.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LIPS:

DAY 1-3:

-Use a straw to drink alcohol, coffee, tea or juices.

-Avoid hot or spicy food.

-Do not smoke for 3 days.

-Use Vaseline every 30-60 minutes to keep the lips soothed while it heals.

FIRST 7 DAYS:

-Avoid heavy exercises. (No sweating)

-Keep out of the sun.

-Don’t use any makeup on the lips.

-No pools, saunas, steaming and swimming.

-Use vaseline until the tattoo is healed.

-Avoid touching the lips with your hands. Apply all recommended products with Q-tips.

-When the scabs start to appear, do NOT pull them off.

First 2 weeks: No facials, saunas, steaming, swimming and makeup on the lips.

First 4 weeks: No direct sun including tanning. Also avoid chemical peels, lasers or anything harsh on the face.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR LASH LINE

Day 1: In the evening, rinse your eyes gently with warm water.

Day 1-5: Avoid using eye makeup and be gentle with the treated area.

FIRST 7 DAYS:

-Avoid steam, applying additional products, and activities that cause heavy sweating.

-Do not scratch, scrub or peel off any crusts or scabs.

-After a week, you may resume your regular routine.
